Let’s start the new year off right! Join us for a special day of creation, where you’ll learn to make a fabric-twined, charm-laden, talisman necklace. We’ll explore different techniques with recycled silk sari fabric and chiffon ribbon directly from India to create our necklace and then add in our special talismans, charms and Milagros.
Each participant will learn the techniques, tips and tricks to successfully make their own stylized fabric necklace. Braiding, sewing and making pom-poms, included! All tools and materials will be provided.
As with any project that can be personalized, it’s a great idea to bring items of your own: Baubles of your grandmother’s, bits and pieces from jewelry that broke but still has great charms, a small token you’ve had for years and always wanted to wear. Bring whatever you’d like to incorporate into your necklace and we’ll have the materials and techniques to add it in.

Workshop Policy:
At this time, due to the amount of preparation that goes into each of our workshops and the intimate class size we offer, there are no refunds given nor credit given towards future workshops. In the unlikely case of a teacher cancellation, students will be credited the full amount of said class. Thank you for your understanding.
